Floyds Lake is a fine spot to camp, Atlanta South Campground is a fine spot, also Floyds Lake Dam is worth visiting while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Greenwood Motel, and Pirkle Campground is a wonderful campground here. Through the summertime here at Floyds Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures       drop down into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while Floyds Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 30's. While you're here at Floyds Lake, you could also take a look at beautiful Miriatoto Lake; Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a magnificent national park. If you need a place to stay Country Hearth Inn Hampton is a good choice.
