For you golfers we recommend nearby Fields the Golf Course; there are other spots here than Floyd Lake, for example Livingston Lake. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Floyd Lake has it all. If you came for an overnight stay F.D. Roosevelt State Park is a tremendous       site to camp; not far from Floyd Lake you'll stumble on Champion Lake which is a gorgeous lake. At Floyd Lake during the long summer days highs are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Floyd Lake. Days Inn La Grange is a great place to get some rest, and why not camp at Pine Mountain Family Campground if you're here at Floyd Lake.                  This lake is so wonderful. Polecat Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to, and if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mulberry Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Floyd Lake is a relatively wet place generally with much precipitation; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
