     Floyd Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Through the summertime months at Floyd Lake temperatures are frequently in the 90's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 70's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Floyd Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western Hazlehurst is a good choice. There's so much to do here at Floyd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Stagger Lee Music Park is a brilliant  
   spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Floyd Lake you obtain some splendid water scenery at Floyd Lake Dam, and since you're here and you like golf, you can stop at Twisted Pines Golf Course.
That right there is a lot already, but it keeps on going; Floyd Lake has it all. A magnificent close by hotel is Scottish Inns Baxley. The amount of rain that falls at Floyd Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year January is
 
               the one with the most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This is a perfect area for folks who like lakes. Sears Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Mill Branch.
