A visit to Floyd Lake is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Mc Donald's Lodge is a great choice. There's so much to do here at Floyd Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pecan Park is a pleasant location for that. McDonald's Lodge Hazelhurst is a great location to get some rest, and golf can be played at Twisted Pines Golf Course.

| | most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Through the warm months highs here at Floyd Lake get into the 90's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. All through the winter highs are mostly in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at Floyd Lake drop into the 30's. Floyd Lake is in the neighborhood of Floyd Lake Dam which is a delightful place undeniably worth stopping at, and some nearby water includes Mill Branch.
