Fausett Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; March is when you get the most rain here, and October is when it's the driest. Don't leave Fausett Lake without first going for a hike along the Brookshire Creek Trail. At Fausett Lake during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 40's with winter lows in       the 20's overnight here at Fausett Lake. Fall Creek is close to Fausett Lake and is always a joy to check out, and if you came for an overnight stay Diamond Lure Campground is a perfect spot to camp. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area close to Fausett Lake has to offer. After a long day outdoors Golf Club Villas of Big Canoe is a perfect site to spend a night or two, and since you're here, you could also stop at striking Kincaid                  Lake. Camping at Fausett Lake is delightful fun, Toccoa Valley Campgrounds is a delightful local campground, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Amicalola Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Long Swamp Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
