During the long summer days at Evans Lake highs are mostly in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's while Evans Lake overnight low temperatures through the winter are in the 30's. This place, Evans Lake, it just       has so much outdoors cool stuff. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Forsyth, and the Ocmulgee River Trail offers hiking at its best. Evans Lake is a rather wet place frequently with much rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Towaliga River; a lake nearby is Millwood Lake. People from Macon                  love to come to Evans Lake; Evans Lake is right by the Kinnard Horse Trail. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Evans Lake you can play some golf at Forsyth Golf Club, and Little Towaliga River is a nice whitewater spot close by. Stay the night at Forsyth KOA, and if you get bored of Evans Lake you could also have a look at close by Abernathy Lake. Evans Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, Forsyth Koa Kampground is a perfect place to camp nearby.
