Plum Nelly Campground is a fine campground here; you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Emery Creek Trail. Why not pop by Evans Lake Dam if you're here, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Songbird Trail. Chief Vann Motel is a pleasant site to get some rest, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Grassy Mountain Tower Trail. During the summertime, highs generally       are in the 80's at Evans Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Evans Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's. A lot of precipitation falls at Evans Lake; all through the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October. And if that's not sufficient, there's loads more to do right next door to Evans Lake. Camping                  at Evans Lake is great fun, Pine Log Campground is a great local campground, and you can run the rapids of Talking Rock Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
