     Not far from Eubank Lake, you'll discover Pollards Corner Lake which is a pretty lake, and don't forget to take a perfect little trip to Chigoe Creek. What a place this is for outdoors people. After a long day outdoors Knights Inn Thomson is a great place to spend a night or two; Mistletoe State Park is a good campground nearby. Eubank Lake usually gets lots of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is January while October is the month with the least  
   amount of precipitation. Going for a hike on the Turkey Creek Hiking Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and Days Inn Thomson is a great spot to get some rest.
This lake is so wonderful. Eubank Lake Dam is stunning and it's near Eubank Lake, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Bennett Lake. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Savannah River. Eubank Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Hamilton
 
               Branch Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby; in the event that you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Stevens Creek.
During the summertime months here at Eubank Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Eubank Lake all through the wintertime generally sink into the 20's.

There are two open spillway dams between the Hwy 28 (Fury's Ferry) Bridge and I-20: Stevens Creek Dam (at the confluence of Stevens Creek) and the Augusta Canal Diversion Dam (about a mile downstream of Stevens Creek Dam). There are no marked access points immediately on either side of either dam. Georgia Power Co. operates an electric generating facility on the Georgia (south) bank at Stevens Creek. At the Canal, since the canal immediately parallels the river some twenty feet above it, there is no river access whatsoever on the Georgia side. Portage would be recommended along private land on the South Carolina side of both dams....
