There's some interesting stuff to see at Ervin Dam in close proximity to Ervin Lake; if you get bored of Ervin Lake you could also visit nearby Lake Rutledge. Ervin Lake gets a large amount of water; throughout March this area sees the most rain; September meanwhile is the driest month. Mooney Lake is a nearby lake that you could       take a look at. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Apalachee River, and after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Madison is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Hard Labor Creek State Park is always a great experience; Hard Labor Creek is a glorious whitewater spot nearby. For the period of the warm days of summer highs here at Ervin Lake get into the 80's. Once                  the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Ervin Lake drop into the 30's. If only every location had this much outdoors cool stuff, what a great earth it would be.
