There are other locations here than English Pond, for example Thomas Pond, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River. English Pond is a wet place that gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October on the other hand is       the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Cornelia Inn, and English Pond is right by the Whitly Gap Trail. At English Pond you always meet someone from Cornelia, and Serendipity Park Nudist Resort is a good local campground. Why not camp at Mountain Creek Grove Nudist if you're here at English Pond; there's fine hiking along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Do stop by Thin River Orchard Dam while                  you're here at English Pond, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at English Pond. If you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Cornelia is a great choice; some nearby water includes Yellowbank Creek. Throughout the summer at English Pond temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's.
