English Pond sees pretty high levels of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Mud Creek, and hiking is a popular thing to do around English Pond; Raven Cliff Falls Trail is a splendid local trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time       of year, Chattahoochee River offers some wonderful whitewater. There's so much to do here at English Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Serendipity Park Nudist Resort is a great place for that. You'll need more than a day to look at everything English Pond has to offer, you can camp at Mountain Creek Grove Nudist, and hey, Yellowbank Creek is a great local stream. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Thin River Orchard Dam has glorious                  water scenery and it's in close proximity to English Pond, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Cornelia is a great choice. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Adams Pond is just a very short distance away. Cornelia-Days Inn is a good site to get some rest, and you're perhaps interested in lakes, Thomas Pond is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. The smiling people of Cornelia like to hang out nearby; English Pond is right by the Whitly Gap Trail. All through the months of summer at English Pond highs are generally in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's.
