Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited Locust Grove, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Little Towaliga River. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 80's at English Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. Highs throughout the winter are commonly in the 50's while English Lake nighttime low temperatures all through the winter       are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Kinnard Horse Trail, and do check out Ball Branch if you're here at English Lake. Here at English Lake you'll in all probability meet some people from Thomaston, and if you come at the right time of year, Towaliga River offers some fine whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area in the vicinity of English Lake has to offer.
