A lot of rainfall falls at English Lake; throughout the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you're stopping by English Lake from Thomaston, you won't be the only one, and you can stay the night at High Falls Campground. High temperatures at English Lake all through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's; throughout       summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down all through the wintertime temperatures at English Lake dip into the 30's. Take a little tour to Ball Branch since you're here at English Lake, and there are other spots here than English Lake, for example English Lake. A great close by hotel is Red Roof Inn Locust Grove; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like                  Morgan's Dairy Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from English Lake, you'll hit upon Corrections Lake which is a scenic lake, and you can go for a hike on the Kinnard Horse Trail. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting stuff at English Lake. If you need a spot to stay Ramada Limited Locust Grove is a perfect choice, and there are fine sites to look at along the Ocmulgee River Trail. There's always English Dam to explore right next door to English Lake, and if you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Towaliga River. This lake is so wonderful. Little Towaliga River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby.
