If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to English Lake. Ball Branch flows through this region, and a round of golf at nearby Morgan's Dairy Golf Club is a perfect way to kill some time. Going for a hike on the Ocmulgee River Trail is always a nice adventure;       you'll discover a lovely lake called English Lake. English Lake mostly gets a good deal of rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is October. High temperatures at English Lake through the months of summer are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for English Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike                  on the Kinnard Horse Trail; if you need a site to stay Locust Grove Atlanta Red Roof Inn is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant nearby hotel is Ramada Limited Locust Grove, and a pleasant site for whitewater paddling is Little Towaliga River. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Towaliga River; the great people of Thomaston like to hang out nearby.
