Elders Lakes is a relatively wet place generally with much rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while September is mostly the driest month. At Elders Lakes during the warm months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's; night lows in the 30's for Elders       Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. You could also explore Lower Elders Lake while you're here at Elders Lakes; it's nearby, and why not camp at Pine Lake RV Campground if you're here at Elders Lakes. Get covered with water paddling on Apalachee River, and while you're here at Elders Lakes, checking out Horseshoe Bend is a must. Elders Lakes is near Lower Elders Dam which is a wonderful spot beyond doubt worth taking a look at, and if you need a place to stay                  Ashford Manor Bed & Breakfast is a delightful choice. During your visit to Elders Lakes you'll meet some folks from Athens-Clarke County for sure, and you can go for a hike on the Mounds Trail. Some nearby water includes Barrow Creek; Butler Motor Inn is a pleasant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. A nice place to camp here at Elders Lakes is Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area, and great hiking is available along the Falling Camp Trail. Having a tremendous time at Elders Lakes is painless.
