    Edwards Lakes is a lake worth visiting. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the vicinity of Edwards Lakes. Garner Creek is a brilliant local stream; while you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Southland Golf Course. There's some interesting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Pylant Dam in close proximity to Edwards Lakes; Edwards Lakes is a great place to visit for more than one day, Stone Mountain Park Family Campground is a great place  
   to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. McDaniels Bluff is an interesting site to stop at while at Edwards Lakes, and if you have the time, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a national park worth taking a look at.
This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Edwards Lakes arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 40's while Edwards Lakes overnight low temperatures
 
               all through the wintertime are in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is great on Yellow River, and a tremendous nearby hotel is Atlanta - Days Inn Stone Mountain.
Best Western Stone Mountain is a good spot to get some rest, and close by you locate brilliant places like Britt Shoals. Edwards Lakes sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Stone Mountain Park is a splendid local campground, and the smiling folks of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like to hang out close by.
