Lakes are such calm locations, why not take a look at Edwards Lake West close to Edwards Lakes, and Southland Golf Course is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. Pylant Dam is a spot that is next to Edwards Lakes. Atlanta - Days Inn Stone Mountain is a tremendous spot to get some rest; some out of the ordinary geology is available here, McDaniels Bluff is right here. Camping is available at Jones RV       Park, and the nice people of Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta like to hang out close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Edwards Lakes. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Edwards Lakes sink into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A great site to camp here at Edwards Lakes is Stone Mountain Park Family Campground, and since                  you're here, you could have a look at Garner Creek. Edwards Lakes usually gets lots of precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Visiting Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet; Britt Shoals is another great location to pop by close by. If only every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be.
