Camping at Edwards Lake West is great fun, Stone Mountain Park Family Campground is a great local campground, and there are other places       here than Edwards Lake West, for example Edwards Lakes. Edwards Lake West gets a large amount of water; the month with most of the rain is March; October is the month with the least moisture. Very magnificent water scenery is available at Edwards Lake West Dam in close proximity to Edwards Lake West, and why not visit nearby Garner Creek since you're here at Edwards Lake West. For the period of the summer, highs frequently are in the 80's at Edwards Lake                  West. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 20's for Edwards Lake West. Jones RV Park is a great campground here, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Stone Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Get dripping wet paddling on Yellow River. Don't leave Edwards Lake West without first checking out McDaniels Bluff; Atlanta - Days Inn Stone Mountain is a fine site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
