If you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATLANTA SOUTHWEST-FAIRBURN is a good choice, and a good location for whitewater paddling is Line Creek. Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Fairburn, GA is a delightful place to get some rest, and you can stay the night at Arrowhead Campground.

| | Edwards Lake is a fine place to camp, Camp Truitt-fulton is a fine place. Summertime highs at Edwards Lake usually tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 40's; through the dark hours in the wintertime at Edwards Lake temperatures descend to the 20's. All the water falling down from the sky makes Edwards Lake a wet spot; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Be careful
coming to Edwards Lake, you might not ever wanna return home again. Not far from Edwards Lake, you'll discover Cooks Lake which is a delightful lake, and Annewakee River is a great whitewater spot close by.
