Lake Echo gets much water; most of the rain falls during March, and October is the month with the least moisture. For the period of the months of summer at Lake Echo temperatures are mostly in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter       nights at Lake Echo are in the 20's. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in close proximity to Lake Echo. While you're here at Lake Echo, you could also stop at pretty Seybert Lake; Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a good national park. A nice spot for whitewater paddling close to Lake Echo is Annewakee River, and for you golfers we recommend nearby Wolf Creek Golf Course. Arrowhead Campground is a splendid local campground;                  Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta West/Lithia Springs is a fine place to get some rest. Take a side spree to Sweetwater Creek, and lots of people from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta come here. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Echo is a brilliant site to visit for more than one day, Sweetwater Creek State Park is a brilliant site to camp nearby; after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites ATLANTA-SIX FLAGS-WEST is a nice place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
