the wintertime temperatures at Lake Echo fall into the 20's. Wolf Creek Golf Course is a golf course in close proximity to Lake Echo, obviously you could also explore Seybert Lake since you're here; it's not far at all.
This lake
is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Annewakee River, and you can take a little visit to Seybert Lake Dam while you're here at Lake Echo. This lake is so wonderful. If you
come at the right time of year, Sweetwater Creek offers some good whitewater, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a great local destination.
