Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Milton Inn; you can go for a hike on the Benton Mackaye Trail. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is excellent! Going for a hike on the Black Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure, and a magnificent spot to camp here at Eagles Nest Lake is Woody Gap Campground. You

Eagles Nest Lake is a rather wet place frequently with lots of rain; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October. lake is so wonderful. It's a delightful idea to pop by Baker Branch, it's close to Eagles Nest Lake, and get your pulse rate up on the good whitewater of Cooper Creek. Just can't get enough of Eagles Nest Lake. There is a great hiking
trail right next door to Eagles Nest Lake called the Duncan Ridge Trail, and camping at Two wheels Only Motorcycle Resort is always a great experience. Through the summertime here at Eagles Nest Lake, high temperatures usually reach
the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Eagles Nest Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. Now, you
may think that's a lot but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to distinguish at Eagles Nest Lake Dam in the vicinity of Eagles Nest Lake, and you can run
the rapids of Blood Mountain Creek. Eagles Nest Lake is not the only spot close by, Woody Lake Dam is a close by lake; at Eagles Nest Lake you can see Cavender Mountain.
