Summer brings highs in the 80's to Eagles Nest Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Eagles Nest Lake. So much cool stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just astonishing. Take a side spree to Baker Branch; the view of pretty Cavender Mountain is perfect. This lake is so wonderful. Camping       at Eagles Nest Lake is magnificent fun, Woody Gap Campground is a magnificent local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Get your pulse rate up on the perfect whitewater of Blood Mountain Creek, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Duncan Ridge Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you came for an overnight stay Two wheels Only Motorcycle Resort is a good place to camp, and nearby you hit upon                  Cavender Gap which is a great spot to take a look at. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. And that's not all you can do here at Eagles Nest Lake. If you need a spot to stay Hidden Cabins is a good choice, and do take a hike on the Benton Mackaye Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Cooper Creek, and Eagles Nest Lake Dam has great water scenery. A delightful nearby hotel is EL JOE Lodge, and Eagles Nest Lake is right by the Black Mountain Trail.
