Duncans Lake Dam is not far at all from Duncans Lake, and a magnificent close by hotel is TownePlace Suites Atlanta Kennesaw. Lots of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta come to Duncans Lake, and a golf course nearby is Cobblestone Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are delightful; Ellison Lake is a lake that's near Duncans Lake, and Duncans Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Kennesaw Koa Kampground is a great local campground. Nothing
beats kicking back at Upper Tanyard Creek Swimming Beach, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a perfect local destination.
All the water falling down from the sky makes Duncans Lake a wet spot; during March this area sees the most rain while October is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Atlanta North KOA is always a pleasant experience. Just can't get enough of Duncans Lake. This is a great area for people who

like lakes. Pinetree Country Club Lake is a lake in close proximity; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Sope Creek.
Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Rottenwood Creek, and Hampton Inn Atlanta-Town Center/Kennesaw is a splendid site to get some rest.
