Get wet paddling on South River, and if you came for an overnight stay Mount Bethel Campground is a delightful place to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Duggan Lake regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is September. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a very nice spot to explore near Duggan Lake; float down the rapids of Yellow River in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful.

course nearby. Through the summer here at Duggan Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's, and after the sun is down through
the winter temperatures at Duggan Lake plunge into the 30's. You'll find a picturesque lake called Jones Lake near Duggan Lake, and a great close by hotel is Country Inn & Suites By Carlson McDonough.

Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain.
