Why not stop by Duck Pond if you're passing through these parts. There's whitewater on Gulf Creek for all you adrenaline junkies, and Express Inn & Suites Trion is a brilliant spot to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Lafayette Days Inn is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and Sequoyah Caverns and Campgrounds is a great campground here. A tour to Lumpkin Spring will fill your soul with delightful feelings, and there are some wonderful whitewater spots on Allen Creek. This lake is so wonderful. are in the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Duck Pond dip into the 20's.
