Camping is available at Pirkle Campground, and there are plenty of folks from Thomaston here. If you came for an overnight stay Atlanta South RV Resort is a delightful location to camp, and whitewater paddling is brilliant on Little Towaliga River. This lake is so wonderful. You're probably into lakes, Horton Lake is one of those nearby, and Towaliga River has a delightful whitewater paddling spot nearby. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's
