Double Lakes is a pretty wet place generally with a lot of precipitation; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is October. All through the warm months at Double Lakes       highs are typically in the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's; night lows at Double Lakes during the wintertime mostly sink into the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Best Western Ashburn Inn is a splendid choice, and if you came to camp Wanee Lake Recreational Vehicle & Golf Course is a great location to do that. A magnificent close by hotel is Days                  Inn Ashburn; you're sure to run into some nice people from Fitzgerald here.
