Double Lakes gets much water; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and October meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like The Bay in the vicinity of Double Lakes make for nice spots to explore, and camping at Southern Gates RV Park and Campground is always a perfect experience. During the warm months here at Double Lakes, high temperatures       commonly get into the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 70's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Double Lakes dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. While you're here at Double Lakes you will meet lots of folks from nearby Fitzgerald; some of the water close by flows, like Big Branch. And if that's not enough, there's loads more to do in the vicinity of Double Lakes.
