After a long day outdoors Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a magnificent location to spend a night or two, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Christie Prairie is right close by. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Double Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Ridley's Chenille and Trailer is a splendid site for that; you can have a pleasant       hiking adventure along the Indian Trail. Stay the night at Traders Hill Recreation Area. Double Lakes is a wet place that gets a lot of rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month. Do check out Boggy Lake close to Double Lakes, it's a gorgeous lake; do take a hike on the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Double Lakes while night lows are commonly in the                  60's.
