What a nice lake Double Lakes is. Double Lakes ordinarily gets a large amount of rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month is October. If only every location had this much outdoors fun things, what a great planet it would be. Double Lakes is a good site to camp, Traders Hill Recreation Area is a good site. | | of summer are in the 90's, and the overnight is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 60's while the cold winter nights at Double Lakes are in the 30's. After a long day outdoors Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Okefenokee Wilderness Canoe Trail. Mobile Park and RV; if you need a location to stay Waycross-Days Inn is a delightful choice. Double Lakes is not far at all from Waycross, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Indian Trail.
