Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. During the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dorsey Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Seabolt Pond is close to Dorsey Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Whitly Gap Trail; if you're stopping       by from Cornelia, you won't be the only one. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dorsey Pond a wet location; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; October is the month with the least moisture. This place is peerless, just explore all the exciting stuff to do close to Dorsey Pond. Leadpole Mountain is clearly visible from Dorsey Pond, and Chattahoochee River is a splendid whitewater spot close by.
