The beauty of Dorsey Lake is reason enough to stop by. You can run the rapids of Little John Creek near Dorsey Lake, and Dorsey Lake Dam is a lovely location, certainly worth visiting. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Be careful coming to the Blue Ridge Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Lakes are wonderful; Alexander Pond is a lake that's close to Dorsey Lake; Econo Lodge Helen is a splendid spot

This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Dorsey Lake is great fun, Union Grove Campground is a great local campground, and the smiling people of Cornelia like to hang out nearby. While you're here at Dorsey Lake you can take a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and don't forget to take a nice little spree to Dean Creek. Yeah, come up here to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a delightful time. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a nice hiking trail near Dorsey Lake; a wonderful close
by hotel is Cleveland Days Inn. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Dorsey Lake will keep you coming back again and again. On a delightful day at Dorsey Lake you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail, and Dorsey Lake is a great
location to camp, Mossy Creek Campground is a great location. High temperatures at Dorsey Lake throughout the days of summer are in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets
highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dorsey Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. A good location for whitewater paddling in the vicinity of Dorsey Lake is Mossy Creek.
