Go to Dollar Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This location is great, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do in close proximity to Dollar Lake. The summit of Buzzard Mountain can be made out from Dollar Lake, and Dollar Lake is near Hester Gap which is certainly worth going to. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Pura Vida USA is a brilliant choice.

| | a wonderful time in the Blue Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. A fine nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Dahlonega, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a good hiking trail near Dollar Lake, and not far from Dollar Lake you acquire some good water scenery at Dollar Lake Dam. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors enjoyable stuff the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. Why not | |

High temperatures at Dollar Lake through the months of summer are
in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Dollar Lake are in the 20's. Dollar Lake is a perfect site to camp,
Water Creek Campground is a perfect site, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Dicks Creek. Dollar Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with much rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other
hand is the driest.
This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dollar Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chestatee Knoll Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail.
