A visit to Dollar Lake is always a good idea. At Dollar Lake you can observe Buzzard Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here at Dollar Lake, you could explore Boggs Creek, and there's whitewater on Frogtown Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. You absolutely must have a thing about Dollar Lake. A fine nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega, and if you came for an overnight stay Chestatee Knoll Campground is a great spot to camp.

| | not enough there's plenty more fun stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a glorious choice, and Hester Gap is close at hand, and is a great location. Why not explore Dollar Lake Dam if you're here, and the Appalachian National Scenic Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Dockery Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit; get your heart beating on the brilliant whitewater of Dicks Creek.

Good hiking is available along the DeSoto Falls Trail, and while you're here, you could also stop at lovely Camp Coleman Lake. During the warm months here at Dollar Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and the nighttime
is slightly chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Dollar Lake. Dollar Lake gets a good deal of water; March is the month that gets the
most rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. There's great hiking along the Whitly Gap Trail, and why not camp at Water Creek Campground since you're here at Dollar Lake. Dollar Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
