What a nice lake Dockery Lake is. But wait, there's more entertaining things to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Augerhole Gap is a tremendous place to spend some time at; there is a good hiking trail close by called the Coosa Backcountry Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Pura Vida USA; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Black Mountain Trail. Be careful coming to Dockery Lake, you might not ever want to return home again. One of the governing features

| | of the surroundings of Dockery Lake is Big Cedar Mountain, and on a great day you can take a hike along the DeSoto Falls Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Blood Mountain Creek in a kayak, and if you came for an overnight stay Woody Gap Campground is a great location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. is trouble-free. If you come at the right time of year, Dicks Creek offers some brilliant whitewater; Dockery Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out.
Dockery Lake is a rather wet place frequently with lots of precipitation;
the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest. The Blue Ridge Mountains scenery is always beautiful. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a wonderful spot to spend a night
or two, and why not camp at Dockery Lake Campground if you're here at Dockery Lake.
At Dockery Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Dockery Lake.
