Do stop by Dockery Lake while you're in this part of Georgia. There are some magnificent whitewater spots on Blood Mountain Creek, and Dockery Lake Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. What a place this is for outdoors people. Dockery Lake Dam is a picturesque site near Dockery Lake. Lakes? Sure, Woody Lake is in the neighborhood. It's a perfect idea to visit Columbia Creek, it's near Dockery Lake, and a good view of stunning Big Cedar Mountain is available.

| | If you want a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you need a place to stay Econo Lodge Dahlonega is a tremendous choice, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Dicks Creek. wonderful. There are other places here than Dockery Lake, for example Lake Winfield Scott, and the Coosa Backcountry Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the DeSoto Falls Trail,
and Dockery Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Woody Gap Campground is a pleasant location to camp nearby. A brilliant nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega. Dockery Lake is a beautiful lake in the Blue
Ridge Mountains. Throughout the days of summer at Dockery Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 40's, and overnight lows
throughout the wintertime for Dockery Lake tend to be in the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes Dockery Lake a relatively wet location; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest month is October.
