Dockery Lake is always a pleasure to visit. Going for a hike on the Coosa Backcountry Trail is always a great adventure, and a tremendous place to visit close by is Augerhole Gap. So many amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains, just striking. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Dahlonega is a great location to spend a night or two; if you came for an overnight stay Dockery Lake Campground is a pleasant place to camp.

| | from the sky makes Dockery Lake a wet location; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is usually the driest month. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Dockery Lake rocks! Visit Columbia Creek while you're here at Dockery Lake, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Woody Lake is one of those close by. Dockery Lake is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Mountain Trail is a nice hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Dahlonega; if the weather is beautiful, you obtain a glorious view of Big Cedar Mountain from Dockery Lake. This lake is
so wonderful. Woody Gap Campground is a good campground nearby, and Dicks Creek has a glorious whitewater paddling spot nearby.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Near Dockery Lake you find the
DeSoto Falls Trail which is a good hiking trail; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blood Mountain Creek. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dockery Lake. Through
the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Dockery Lake dip into the 20's.
