A visit to Dixie Lakes is always a good idea. So many cool things to do here at Dixie Lakes, too glorious to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Annewakee River offers some great whitewater, and unsurprisingly, all our national parks are good sites to stop at and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here, and a splendid place to camp

| | here at Dixie Lakes is Camp Truitt-fulton. Camping is available at Arrowhead Campground, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sweetwater Creek. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Dixie Lakes, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 60's.
