    What a nice lake Dickson Lake is. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Dickson Lake you must have a look at Atwood Point; if you came to camp Look Out Mountain Koa Kampground is a brilliant location to do that. You might want to pay a visit to Burnt Mill Valley since you're here at Dickson Lake, and after a long day outdoors Key West Inn La Fayette is a splendid site to spend a night or two. There's so much to do here at Dickson Lake that you need  
   to camp here for a while, Sequoyah Caverns and Campgrounds is a tremendous site for that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Gulf Creek.
At Dickson Lake all through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Dickson Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There are other spots here than Dickson Lake, for example
 
               Chandler Lake, and Lafayette Days Inn is a nice place to get some rest. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Allen Creek, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Dickson Creek.
Good hiking is available along the Bluff Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Lafayette Golf Course is a wonderful way to kill some time. So many entertaining things to do here at Dickson Lake, too wonderful to be true. You're sure to run into some great people from Summerville here, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dickson Spring. Go for a hike on the Skyuka Trail.
Dickson Lake gets a great deal of water; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October is when it's the driest.
