Many people like to go to Dickson Lake. Lafayette Days Inn is a brilliant place to get some rest, and get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Allen Creek. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Dickson Spring, and Atwood Point is pretty close. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Skyuka Trail, and you can run the rapids of Gulf Creek. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Dickson Lake. Since you're here at Dickson Lake why not pop by Burnt Mill Valley, and Dickson Creek is near Dickson Lake and is always a joy to stop at. Stay the night at James H. Floyd State Park, and there are plenty of folks from Summerville here at Dickson Lake.

wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dickson Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cloudland Canyon State Park is a brilliant spot for that, and Lafayette Golf Course is a splendid golf course nearby. Through the summertime
at Dickson Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's with temperatures at Dickson Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter
nights.
Dickson Lake usually gets a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October is the month with the least moisture.
