Go to Dickson Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Camp Truitt-fulton is a perfect location to do that, and get soaked paddling on Chattahoochee River. Whitewater paddling is great on Line Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Dickson Lake a wet place; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is September.

Dickson Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Pirkle Campground is a fine local campground, and Crystal Lake is a wonderful lake nearby. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Dickson
Lake. Dickson Lake Dam is beautiful and it's close to Dickson Lake, and there are other places here than Dickson Lake, for example Deer Field Trail Lake.
