Do stop by Dickson Lake while you're in this part of Georgia. Be careful coming to Dickson Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. Dickson Lake is a site with many visitors from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, and dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn Riverdale. a delightful campground nearby. Lakes are such serene places, why not take a look at Jackson Lake close to Dickson Lake. Dickson Lake gets lots of water; March is the wettest month with most rain, and September is when it's the
driest. All our national parks are good places to stop by, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is no exception, and Kites Lake is a great lake nearby.
