Diamond Lure Lake is a wet location that gets much precipitation; all through March this area sees the most rain; October meanwhile is the driest month. Camping at Diamond Lure Lake is good fun, Plum Nelly Campground is a good local campground, and whitewater paddling is tremendous on Clear Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Mountain View Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest, and nearby you stumble on       the Tearbritches Trail which is a good hiking trail. Diamond Lure Lake truly is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. There is a great hiking trail right next door to Diamond Lure Lake called the Benton Mackaye Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Diamond Lure Campground is a great site to camp. Dry warm beds await you at Microtel Inn and Suites Jasper, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater                  paddling on Cartecay River. At Diamond Lure Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the night is a little chillier of course, ordinarily in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while Diamond Lure Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's. Going for a hike on the Bear Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure.
