Diamond Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Bearden Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and Low Gap is another delightful place to explore close by. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. If you need a location to stay Blue Ridge - Days Inn is a great choice; let's not forget Bearden Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while

| | you're here. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains is so good! A tremendous close by hotel is Comfort Inn & Suites; Cartecay River is a great whitewater spot close by. All the water falling down from the sky makes Diamond Lake a wet place; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. The Black Mountain Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close proximity to Diamond Lake, | |

and camping is available at Diamond Lure Campground. What a spot this is for outdoors people. If the weather is tremendous here at Diamond Lake, you can go for a hike along the Tearbritches Trail, and George Mountain can be distinguished
from Diamond Lake. While you're here at Diamond Lake you can take a hike along the Benton Mackaye Trail, and Cartecay River Watershed Structure Number Five Dam is a scenic location. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Toccoa
Valley Campgrounds is always a glorious experience, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Toccoa River. Diamond Lake is one of the lakes here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. During the summer months highs here at Diamond
Lake reach the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's, and overnight lows at Diamond Lake during the wintertime regularly fall into the 20's.
