Hiking along the Mounds Trail is wonderful fun; after a long day outdoors Foundry Park Inn & Spa is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. Camping at Devils Pond is pleasant fun, Wesleyan Campground is a pleasant local campground, and a wonderful close by hotel is Comfort Suites Athens. You clearly ought to love Devils Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is a wonderful       place to camp; get wet paddling on Big Clouds Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Scull Shoals Trail; a quick visit to Mill Creek is without doubt a wonderful idea. Devils Pond is a spot with many visitors from Athens-Clarke County. Devils Pond gets a large amount of water; most of the rain falls through March while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Throughout the summer months at                  Devils Pond temperatures are regularly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Devils Pond.
