Having a splendid time at Demooney Lake is simple. There's some flowing water nearby, Big Branch is a stream you can stop at while you're here, and Sweetwater Creek is a good whitewater spot close by. Camping is available at Arrowhead Campground, and if you get bored of Demooney Lake you could also go to close by Twin Lakes. All through the months of summer at Demooney Lake temperatures       are generally in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's with temperatures at Demooney Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Demooney Lake mostly gets a lot of rain; during March this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. Demooney Lake is not far at all from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, and if you don’t have a problem                  getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Annewakee River. If you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATLANTA SOUTHWEST-FAIRBURN is a tremendous choice; Sleep Inn Fairburn is a good spot to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend nearby Wolf Creek Golf Course, and don't miss out on a spree to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail if you're here.
