Dean Lake is a lake worth visiting. This lake is so wonderful. You can see Baker Knob from Dean Lake; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Chattahoochee Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moccasin Creek, and Mr Bud's Campground is a delightful campground here. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dean Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is October. Here at Dean Lake you'll almost certainly meet some people from Cornelia, and you can stay the night at Sleepy Hollow Campground. And that's not all you can do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dean Lake. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 40's,
and nighttime lows in the 20's for Dean Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. There are some great whitewater spots on Hiwassee River and High Shoals Creek.
