If you like lakes and you're in this part of Georgia you can check out Dean Lake. All our national parks are tremendous places to pop by, and Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is no exception. This lake is so wonderful. Settingdown Creek is a good whitewater spot near Dean Lake. Dean Lake is not far at all from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta, and you can go for a hike on the Brookshire Creek Trail. High temperatures at Dean Lake throughout the long summer days are in the 80's | |

while night lows are regularly in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Dean Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. Hurricane Creek is one of the streams close by that
might be worth checking out; you can run the rapids of Amicalola Creek. What a site this is for outdoors folks. A tremendous nearby hotel is Springhill Suites Atlanta/Alpharetta, and Mill Canton Structure Number Eight Dam is a striking
place, unquestionably worth visiting. Lakes are magnificent; Ball Lake is a lake that's near Dean Lake; you can stay the night at Twin Lakes Park.
