If you are traveling by, why not stop by Davis Lake. Davis Lake is a wet site that gets much rain; during March this area sees the most rain; October on the other hand is the driest. Lakes are wonderful; Sholar Pond is a lake that's right next door to Davis Lake; Jameson Inn Bainbridge is a great place to get some rest. Camping is available at Wingate's Lodge Restaurant Marina and RV Park; a splendid close by hotel is Bainbridge Days Inn.

| | by Davis Lake from Bainbridge, you won't be the only one, and Davis Lake Dam is pretty. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Davis Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Davis Lake, you'll hit upon Lake Douglas which is a pretty lake; why not camp at Flint River KOA if you're here at Davis Lake.
Summertime highs at Davis Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 90's, and the night is a tad chillier of course, mostly in the 70's. Daytime | |

| Beautiful RV Park across the street from the Flint River. We have 85 sites with full hook-ups water power sewage and cable upon request. Storage for campers RV's and boats is available at a reasonble cost. We have a recreational room with full kitchen that can accomodate about 35 people. Clubs are welcome! Also we have shower facilities in 2 locations and a laundry mat for convience. Boat docks are located across the street for easy launching for your fishing boat or ski boat. A beautiful nature trail for those who love to walk and a board walk on the other side of the basin that allows you to see the beauty of the Flint River.
