Dashers Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Dashers Lake. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the winter highs are typically in the 60's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Dashers Lake descend into the 30's. Camping at Paradise Island Fishing is always a perfect experience, and there are other places here than Dashers Lake, for example

| | Langdales Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Valdosta, Ga, and there are some nice whitewater spots on Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal). Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Turket Creek; Guesthouse Valdosta is a good location to get some rest. Dashers Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; July is when you get the most rain here, and October is the month with the least moisture. | |

This lake is so wonderful. Here at Dashers Lake you'll perhaps meet some people from Valdosta, and camping is available at River Park RV Park. You definitely must love Dashers Lake.
