Microtel Inn and Suites Jasper is a magnificent spot to get some rest, and a wonderful lake like Jewell Eaton Lake is a great place to take a look at. Stay the night at Diamond Lure Campground, and get soaked paddling on Long Swamp Creek. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motels - Jasper, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Cartecay River. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors,       just come on down to Darnell Lake. There's so much to do here at Darnell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Plum Nelly Campground is a brilliant spot for that. Lots of rainfall falls at Darnell Lake; March is the wettest month with most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Polecat Branch is a stream that you may come across while you're here, also Jewell Eaton Lake Dam is worth checking out while you're here. Throughout the summer months                  at Darnell Lake highs are regularly in the 80's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, mostly in the 60's.
