All the water falling down from the sky makes Dark Lake a wet place; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Dark Lake you'll meet some folks from Fitzgerald for sure, and not far from Dark Lake you'll find Bryan Lakes which is a striking lake. Summertime brings highs in the       90's to Dark Lake. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 70's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Dark Lake. McDaniel Lake Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and South Georgia RV Park is a wonderful campground here. Yeah, come here to Dark Lake for a good time. Camping at Dark Lake is good fun, Riverbend Bluegrass is a good local campground; if you need a place to stay Super 8 Motel -                  Tifton is a good choice.
