The high level of precipitation       makes Cypress Pond a pretty wet location; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is October. Cypress Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Eagles Roost Campground is a tremendous local campground; drift down the rapids of Turket Creek in a kayak. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Cypress Pond, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the                  60's, and night lows all through the winter for Cypress Pond tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful.
