People from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta love to come to Crystal Lake, and if you need a location to stay Sleep Inn Douglasville is a brilliant choice. That right there is a lot already, but it carries on; Crystal Lake has it all. Golf can be played at Greystone Golf Course; why not stop at Crystal Lake Dam while you're here. Crystal Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Arrowhead Campground is a nice local campground, and dry warm beds await you

| | at La Quinta Inn AND Suites Douglasville. Annewakee River has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by, obviously you could also go to Gresham Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Crystal Lake is not the only place nearby, Lake Douglas is a nearby lake, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tanyard Branch. a great little tour to Mill Creek, and if you came to camp Sweetwater Creek State Park is a tremendous site to do that. All the water falling down from the sky makes Crystal Lake a wet site; most of the rain falls throughout March,
and the driest month is October. For the period of the long summer days here at Crystal Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 40's with temperatures at Crystal Lake dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
