If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Crystal Lake. A splendid close by hotel is Atlanta-Days Inn Airport South/College Park, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to take a tremendous little spree to Cater Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Chattahoochee River. | | and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 40's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Crystal Lake drop into the 20's.
After a long day outdoors Quality Hotel Conference Center is a glorious location to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Camp Truitt-fulton is a tremendous place to camp. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. | |

Camping at Crystal Lake is great fun, Arrowhead Campground is a great local campground. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like College Park Municipal Golf Course; a tour to Overmountain Victory National Historic
Trail is recommended.
A large amount of rainfall falls at Crystal Lake; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is September.
