If you need a spot to stay Jameson Inn Commerce is a fine choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit North Oconee River. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Jefferson is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Jefferson City Lake is around here. Crowes Lake       Dam is not far at all from Crows Lake, and there are plenty of folks from Gainesville here. Summertime highs at Crows Lake mostly tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Crows Lake drop into the 20's. Crows Lake generally gets much rainfall; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of                  the months is August. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the neighborhood of Crows Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Apalachee River offers some tremendous whitewater.
