All the water falling down from the sky makes Crooked Lake a wet location; July is when you get the most rain here, and November is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Crooked Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hortense wesleyan Camp. If you like swamps,       you're in luck, Brosay Suck is right nearby. There's so much to do here at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pinelake Campgrounds is a wonderful location for that. You'll discover a delightful lake called Bug Suck Lake near Crooked Lake; a cool spot to check out is Bug Bluff. Box Point is near Crooked Lake and is a great site to take a look at; at Crooked Lake you always meet someone from Jesup. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby                  hotel is Jesup, Ga. Days Inn, and Doctors Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. For the duration of the warm months here at Crooked Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 70's.
