A good deal of rain falls at Crawford Lake; during the month of March you get the most rain around here, and September is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A golf course in close proximity to Crawford Lake is Charlie Yates Golf Course, naturally you could also explore Bruce Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. That right there is a heap already, but it continues; Crawford Lake has       it all. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a nice place in close proximity to Crawford Lake, and Crawford Lake Dam is a scenic spot, absolutely worth stopping at. If you need a location to stay Rodeway Inn Forest Park is a magnificent choice; Camp Truitt-fulton is a great campground here. While you're here at Crawford Lake you will meet lots of people from close by Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta; there are some perfect whitewater spots on Chattahoochee                  River. Crawford Lake is a pleasant spot to camp, Atlanta South Campground is a pleasant spot, and Country Hearth Inn Atlanta Decatur is a fine place to get some rest. High temperatures at Crawford Lake all through the warm days of summer are in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's.
