All the outdoors amusing things in the Blue Ridge Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. On a nice day at Cox Lake you can take a hike along       the Bartram Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Stekoa Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Near Cox Lake you hit upon the Stewart Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and if you come at the right time of year, Darnell Creek offers some pleasant whitewater.
