If you are in Rabun county it's always a good idea to stop by Cox Lake. But wait, there's more to do next to Cox Lake. Stay the night at Blue Ridge Camp & Resort; Clayton-Days Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn & Suites Mt. Chalet is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and why not a little side journey to Blacks Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You can take a little trip to Cox Lake Dam while you're here at

This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well pop by Courthouse Gap, and Turkey Cove is very near and is a great location to stop by. If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. Go for a hike on the Stewart Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Stekoa Creek, and the best way to spend a winter | |

This place, Cox Lake, it simply has so much outdoors amusing stuff. Going for a hike on the Bartram Trail is always a great adventure; while you're here you can play some golf at Rabun
County Golf Club. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Cox Lake is a pleasant location to visit for more than one day, Mountain City RV Park is a pleasant location to camp nearby, and you get a good
sight of Lookoff Mountain from here. Yep, outdoors cool things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Looking for something near Cox Lake? Rabun Gap Nacoochee School Lake is in the vicinity; there are wonderful spots
to look at along the Gage Trail.
Cox Lake is a wet site that gets a great deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are some perfect
whitewater spots on Darnell Creek It's always great to go to Darling Spring. For the period of the long summer days highs here at Cox Lake get into the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. For the period of the
wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Cox Lake.
