The beauty of Cox Lake is reason enough to stop by. You simply have to adore Cox Lake. A great location to camp here at Cox Lake is Christian's warwoman Campground, and of course Blacks Creek is a pretty stream that is worth taking a look at. The skiing at Scaly Mountain is great It's always great to stop at Darling Spring. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. This lake is so wonderful. You don’t have to go far from Cox Lake to catch a sight of the water at Cox Lake Dam, and if you get bored of Cox Lake you could also go to close by Black Rock Lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Blue Ridge Mountains rules! Taking a little tour to nearby Turkey Cove is a good idea, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Gage Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cox Lake with overnight lows in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in
the 40's with temperatures at Cox Lake dipping down into the 20's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Sky Valley is just what you need, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Darnell Creek. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. If you need a site to stay Clayton-Days Inn is a delightful choice, and
hiking is a popular thing to do around Cox Lake; Bartram Trail is a great local trail.
Cox Lake gets much water; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is July. Having a great time in the Blue
Ridge Mountains is uncomplicated. Cox Lake is right by the Stewart Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains.
Lookoff Mountain is picturesque and can be spotted from Cox Lake, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Stekoa Creek.
