Coursey Lake Dam is a location that is in the vicinity of Coursey Lake, and Highland Golf Club is a great golf course nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you get bored of Coursey Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Smith Lake, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a tremendous local destination. The high level of precipitation makes       Coursey Lake a rather wet site; March is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is October. At Coursey Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Coursey Lake are in the 30's. Patrick Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore; if you need a site to stay La Quinta Inn AND Suites Atlanta                  Conyers is a nice choice. You just must go for Coursey Lake.
