High temperatures at Corrections Lake through the warmest time of the year are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and night lows in the 30's for Corrections Lake. Corrections Lake is right by the Kinnard Horse Trail; you can stay the night at High Falls Campground. Some of the water       close by flows, like Brushy Creek; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby High Falls Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Corrections Lake you'll probably meet some people from Thomaston. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this place. If you come at the right time of year, Little Towaliga River offers some nice whitewater, and Corrections Lake is a fine location to visit for more than one day, Beaver Creek Campground                  is a fine location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent close by hotel is Locust Grove Atlanta Red Roof Inn, and Corrections Dam is a pretty place. This is a great vicinity for people who like lakes. English Lake is a lake in the vicinity, and float down the rapids of Towaliga River in a kayak.
