Summer at Cordle Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and overnight lows in the 20's for Cordle Lake. Cordle Lake is a reasonably wet place mostly with a great deal of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is October. If you came for an overnight stay Rome-floyd County       Recreation is a good place to camp, and do stop by Boggs Lake, it's a pretty lake. You'll meet a lot of folks from Rome here; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Big Cedar Creek. Stonebridge Golf Club is a golf course next to Cordle Lake, and get your heart pumping on the splendid whitewater of Johnnies Creek. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Cordle Lake.
